Notary Reviews™ NSA Forum
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Notary Reviews™ Member Forum (the “Forum”), including all content, features, discussions, accounts, and services made available through the Forum.
By accessing or using the Forum, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Forum.
1. About the Forum
The Notary Reviews™ Member Forum is a private discussion platform operated by [legal business name] (“Notary Reviews™,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) for Notary Signing Agents and related users approved for access.
These Terms apply only to your use of the Forum and do not necessarily apply to other products, services, websites, or training offerings unless separately stated.
2. Eligibility
To use the Forum, you must:

have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms

provide accurate registration information

comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other posted policies
We reserve the right to deny access to any person, for any lawful reason, at our discretion.
3. Permission to use the Forum
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and use the Forum for its intended purpose.
Your permission to use the Forum may be suspended, restricted, or revoked at any time if you violate these Terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your continued participation is not in the best interest of the Forum or its members.
4. Accounts
Certain features of the Forum require an account.
If you create an account, you agree to:

Discourse’s current forum terms require users to provide, at minimum, a valid email address and make the user responsible for actions taken through their account until compromise is reported or the account is closed.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that appear false, misleading, abusive, inactive, compromised, or in violation of these Terms.
5. Membership access
The Forum may be restricted to approved members, paid members, applicants, moderators, administrators, or other authorized users.
We reserve the right to:

scrape, crawl, copy, mirror, or automate access to the Forum except as expressly authorized

reproduce or display Forum content on another site by framing, embedding, or similar means without permission
Discourse’s current forum terms similarly prohibit unlawful use, unauthorized account use, advertisements or solicitations, automated access, impersonation, circumvention of security restrictions, unreasonable system loads, and displaying forum content on other sites using iframe-type methods.
7. Content standards
You may not post, upload, or share content that:

is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, obscene, or otherwise harmful

infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or contractual obligations

discloses confidential, private, or personal information you do not have the right to disclose

contains false, misleading, reckless, or knowingly inaccurate statements
-
is off-topic, disruptive, or clearly inconsistent with the professional purpose of the Forum

includes viruses, malicious code, or harmful technical payloads
Discourse’s current terms prohibit content that is illegal, offensive, harmful, infringing, privacy-violating, confidential, or malicious, and also prohibit off-topic or disruptive submissions.
Because this Forum is intended for professional discussion, users must also avoid posting borrower information, signer personal information, confidential company data, or other sensitive information that should not be shared.
8. Professional conduct
This Forum is intended to support professional discussion among Notary Signing Agents and related members.
You agree to participate in a respectful, business-focused manner. Personal attacks, bullying, harassment, threats, repeated hostility, or inflammatory behavior are not allowed.
We reserve the right to remove content or restrict participation that undermines the professional environment of the Forum.
9. Company reviews, alerts, and user responsibility
The Forum may include discussions regarding signing services, title companies, escrow companies, payment experiences, and other industry-related matters.
You are solely responsible for what you post. By posting, you represent that:

your content is based on your own experience, opinion, or lawful source

you have the right to share it
-
it does not knowingly contain false statements

it does not violate confidentiality obligations, court orders, laws, or third-party rights
Notary Reviews™ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content. Users must exercise independent judgment when relying on discussions, reviews, alerts, or commentary posted by others.
10. Moderation and enforcement
We may moderate the Forum using administrators, moderators, platform tools, automated tools, or other review methods.
We may, at our discretion:

review reports
-
edit, move, redact, close, or remove content
-
warn users
-
restrict features
-
suspend accounts
-
terminate access
-
cooperate with legal authorities where appropriate
Discourse’s current terms expressly allow forum operators to investigate violations, remove or redact content, use moderation tools, and restrict, suspend, or close accounts.
Our decision to moderate, remove, or retain content does not create any duty to monitor all content and does not make us responsible for user posts.
11. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, to the extent you own it. However, by posting content to the Forum, you grant Notary Reviews™ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, publish, distribute internally within the Forum, moderate, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, administer, improve, and promote the Forum.
Discourse’s current terms likewise state that users retain ownership of their submitted content, while granting the forum operator a license to provide, copy, publish, and analyze that content in connection with the forum.
You understand that:

your content may be viewed by other authorized users

removed content may remain in backups, logs, quotes, or archival systems for a period of time
-
we are not obligated to store, maintain, or provide copies of your content
Discourse’s current terms also state that the operator is not obligated to store, maintain, or provide copies of submitted content.
12. Intellectual property
All Notary Reviews™ names, logos, branding, design elements, original text, graphics, and other proprietary materials made available by us are owned by or licensed to Notary Reviews™, unless otherwise stated.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, or exploit Forum materials or branding without prior written permission.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Forum is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and manage personal information associated with the Forum.
By using the Forum, you acknowledge that no online platform can guarantee absolute privacy or security.
14. Third-party services
The Forum may rely on third-party services, including hosting providers, software providers, spam-prevention tools, email providers, analytics tools, payment processors, or integrations.
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, security, or policies of third-party services.
Discourse’s current terms also disclaim warranties regarding third-party services linked to or integrated with the forum.
15. No legal, tax, financial, or professional advice
Content on the Forum is provided for general informational and discussion purposes only. Nothing on the Forum constitutes legal, tax, financial, accounting, compliance, or professional advice.
Users are responsible for obtaining advice from qualified professionals where needed.
16. Disclaimers
The Forum and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of:

reliability

merchantability

fitness for a particular purpose

non-infringement

uninterrupted availability

security or error-free performance
Discourse’s current terms similarly provide the forum “as is” and disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notary Reviews™, its owners, officers, administrators, moderators, affiliates, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Forum.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Forum will not exceed the greater of:

the amount you paid us, if any, for Forum access during the 12 months preceding the claim, or
-
$50
Discourse’s current terms cap total liability related to the forum or forum content at $50, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Notary Reviews™, its owners, affiliates, administrators, moderators, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

your content
-
your misuse of the Forum

your violation of these Terms
-
your violation of law or third-party rights
-
actions taken through your account
Discourse’s current terms also require users to indemnify the operator against legal claims related to breach of the terms or misuse of the forum.
19. Suspension and termination
You or Notary Reviews™ may end this relationship at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if:

you violate these Terms
-
you violate posted rules or policies
-
you misuse the Forum
-
you pose legal, security, reputational, or operational risk
-
your membership expires or is revoked
-
we discontinue the Forum or any part of it
Discourse’s current terms likewise provide that either side may end the agreement at any time, and that the operator may restrict, suspend, or close accounts.
20. Changes to the Forum
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove any aspect of the Forum at any time, including categories, features, membership structures, policies, access rules, or content availability.
We are not liable for any modification, interruption, or discontinuation of the Forum.
21. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [insert state], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Forum shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [insert county and state], unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Discourse’s current terms likewise provide that unenforceable provisions should be modified or removed while the remainder stays in effect.
23. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional posted policies or checkout terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Notary Reviews™ regarding the Forum.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version and update the Effective Date above.
For material changes, we may also provide notice by email, forum announcement, banner, or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Forum after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Discourse’s current terms state that updates are posted to the forum and that substantial changes may also be communicated by email or special forum messages.
